Royal Botanic Gardens

Did you know about Sydney’s own Central Park? It’s called the Royal Botanic Gardens and it’s located right in the centre of the city. The Royal Botanic Gardens rely on donations, which is why they offer this unique way to help them out: dedicating a bench! If you pay $12,500 to $19,500, you will get your very own bench there for ten years, and you will be allowed to write a message on a plaque for it. 

Another way to support them is to become a member, which comes with many perks, one of which is receiving the Gardens Magazine three times a year. In it, you will be able to see the Royal Botanic Garden’s workers picks of the best flowers and trees. Right now, one of them is the crepe myrtle, which I find very beautiful, mostly because of it’s bright pink color.
