Hyde Park Sydney Thinking Routine

 

• What can you see? Two older men in the park

• What are these people doing? They are playing chess, but in a gigantic board

• How often do you think these people play at the park? Quite often, they’re probably retired and go to the park as a way to pass time and be with friends.

• What kind of different activities can you do at the park? When it’s sunny, I like to walk around the park or to tan in the sun beds. As a kid, I would go to feed old bread to the ducks and look at the peacocks with my grandparents, however, I don’t do that anymore.

• Do you have something similar where you live? Yes, in Bilbao we have the Doña Casilda park, also known as “parque de los patos”.

• Where do you usually go for a walk with your friends? The park is always a good option. On top of that, we like to walk by the river.

• Do you like going out to a park? Yes, although I don’t do it as often as I’d like to.

• Do you usually play any sport in a park? Not really, I’m not a sporty person at all.
